3. Pension Fund Conference in Istanbul

Mr. Murat Çetinkaya was born in Ankara in 1970. He completed TED Ankara College in 1988. After graduating from his degree on Materials and Metallurgical Engineering at the METU (Middle East Technical University) in 1992, he finished the T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. Banking School in 1993 and completed his post graduate major degree in Banking at Marmara University Banking and Insurance Institute in 2001. He began his professional career at T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. Fund Management Department. He continued as Deputy Treasurer at Tekstilbank and later as Treasurer at Diler Yatırım Bankası A.Ş. Since 05.08.2010, Mr. Çetinkaya has been serving as the General Manager of Halk Invest, full subsidiary of Halkbank. He has also served as a Board Member for Halk Portföy since its establishment untill April 2013. Mr. Çetinkaya has been serving as the Head of Discipline Committee of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. since 2014, Vice President of Turkish Capital Market Sectoral Assembly of the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges since 2013.  Mr Çetinkaya is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Capital Markets Professionals Association (SPP) since 2013.

Mrs. Júlia Király is Professor of Finance and Monetary Economic, head of Department at the International Business School (IBS) Budapest. She was the Deputy Governor of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (Central Bank of Hungary), responsible for financial stability during the crisis of 2007-2013. Prior to this, she was one of the owners and CEO of the ITCB Budapest, a well-known training and consulting company. In 2006 Julia was the organizer of the Beveridge-club aiming at promoting the necessary pension-reforms with the support of the best experts in the field. As a consequence she was nominated in 2007 by the Prime Minister of Hungary to chair the Pension Reform Committee which published its final report on the necessary reforms in 2009. Later, as deputy governor, she supervised the pension calculations run by the Central Bank of Hungary. She has several publications on monetary policy, banking and finance, including pension scheme analysis.

Emrah Şener, Assitant Professor of Finance at Özyegin University, was awarded the 2009 Faculty Award from IBM International for his project on the design and implementation of real time data analytics services in the cloud to enable the application of collaborative intelligence. Professor Şener is the Director of the Istanbul Risk Management Lab at Özyegin University School. Before joining Özyegin University Business School in 2010, he was the Senior Vice President at the Bank of America, Structured Credit Trading. Dr. Şener received his BS in Economics and Finance from Bogaziçi University (2000), his MS in Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics (2003) and his PhD in Mathematical Finance from London School of Economics and Imperial College of London (2007). Professor Şeners research interests lie in the fields of Financial Economics, Asset Pricing, and Quantitative Asset Management.
