This re-election, which extends the presidency of the Spanish representative for three more years, has been formalized in the general assembly of this organization, held in Madrid, and has been unanimously approved by a proposal of the board of directors.
In this third consecutive term of the Spanish representative, chosen for the first time in 2012, EFFAS's priority challenges will be to analyze the changes in the role of analysts and investment managers in the face of the challenge of new technologies; Work for the establishment of a mandatory professional certification for analysts and portfolio managers within the framework of the European MiFID II regulation; And to continue to actively collaborate as users of financial information in European bodies such as the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) or the Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL).
