Further to the EFFAS AGM held in Brussels on June 27, 2014, and according to Art. 9.1 of the new Charter approved by means of written AGM last April 11, which allows the numbers of EMC members to increase from 6 to 8 members, EFFAS has the great pleasure to announce that our Executive management Committee is now counting 3 new members.
Before introducing EFFAS new EMC members, we announce that the mandate of Chris Golden came to an end on May 2014, leaving an available seat among the EMC. On behalf of EFFAS, the EMC members wants to thank him for all his efforts and whishes him all the best in his future endeavors.
Moreover, it has also to be mentioned that the following EMC members have been re-elected and will therefore continue their mandate among the EMC:

Mrs. Judit Tóth
Owning a doctorate degree in economics, Mrs.Tóth is an economist with a three decades professional experience in a wide range of topics in the financial and capital market fields, from project management to corporate finance, from investment analysis to venture capital financing. Before joining ITCB in 1994 and becoming its CEO 20 years ago, Mrs. Tóth has occupied different executive positions in the commercial banking and central banking. She played a pioneer role in introducing and development of new diploma programs; she initiated ITCB’s linkages to EFFAS and set up the professional team in charge of introducing the EFFAS diploma program at ITCB in 1995. She speaks Hungarian, English and German and has basic knowledge of French.
Mr. Raul Simoes Marques
With a Degree in Economics at ISE-UTL, Mr. Marques occupied positions such as Senior Analyst, General Manager and Board member of several financial companies before becoming the CEO and Chairman of Banif Gestao de Activos and Banif Acor Pensoes (Asset Management), as well as CEO of Banif capital (Private Equity). He has been appointed President of APAF (Associacao Portuguesa de Analistas Financeiros) in 2006 and speaks fluently Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
Mr. Pietro Gasparri
Graduated “cum laude” (110/110) in Economics and Business Administration, Mr. Gasparri worked as Head and Co-head of the Invesment and Private banking as well as Senior Equity Analyst for several banking firms. He is presently Manager at European Securities Network (ESN), a multi-local partnership of banks and brokerage firms which creates common standards of cooperation in equity research and sales. Mr. Gasparri is also Board member of AIAF (Associazione Italiana degli Analisti Finanziari) since 2011 and speaks fluently Italian and Spanish with a good command of English and French.
The EMC congratulate them on their new appointment, wishes them every success in their new duties and look forward in working closely and strengthen the cooperation among EFFAS.
